Mariam Adawiah Dzulkifli is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, IIUM. Her specialization is Cognitive Psychology. She studies the role of human cognition in shaping people’s behaviour.
Her main interest is in studying human memory such as the normal and abnormal memory processes, the relationship between memory, aging and the psychological processes related to memory and learning. Her research mainly involves looking for neuropsychological and electrophysiological evidences supporting the relationship between brain and behaviour. She is a member in a Tracer Study research group (IIUM research project), PCBDG (Pervasive, Computational, Brain and Development Group, KICT, IIUM) and Auditory Cognitive Group, UKMKL).
Mariam Adawiah Dzulkifli teaches undergraduate core courses such as cognitive psychology, introduction to psychology, experimental psychology, physiological psychology and psychology of learning, and supervises masters/PhD in the area related to cognitive psychology.
