Psychology Students’ Association (PSYCSTA)

Psychology Students’ Association (PSYCSTA) is a student’s society that provides a training ground for our psychology students to integrate and apply their psychological knowledge outside the class room. This association also serves as a medium for psychology students as well as the IIUM community to interact with each other via psychological-based programmes and activities.

VISION

To become an established and progressive students’ association that serves to improve the quality of the Muslim Ummah.

MISSION

  1. Maintaining professionalism in duties delegations, formal meeting, tasks executions and official gatherings.

  2. Producing competent and dynamic individuals in all aspects of life in order to contribute in any form to the society and Muslim Ummah.

  3. Strengthening the bond between family members of PSYCSTA as to establish trust and love among each other.

  4. Promoting the spirit and passion towards psychology through dissemination and application of knowledge acquired.

  5. Establishing a strong foundation and support system that look after the welfare and affairs of the psychology students of IIUM.

Psychology Students’ Association (PSYCSTA): Service

The Department together with the Psychology Students Association (PSYCSTA) actively organise activities for the psychology students and the university community. The activities are designed to enhance students’ knowledge and skills through activities outside the classroom. The involvement and participation in the activities help the students to maximise their learning output at the same time promoting psychology to the public.
