NOTICE ON ADJUSTMENT PERIOD FOR SEMESTER 1, 2017/2018


Students are advised to check the available courses and register ONLINE FIRST before doing so manually.

If you experience technical or financial problems that prevent you from registering online, please RESOLVE THAT ISSUE FIRST with ITD, Finance Division, or the relevant offices before coming to the course adjustment venue.

Should you genuinely need to register manually, you need to:

  • Fill in the UG01-Application to Add a Course (Adjustment/Late Registration) form correctly. ONE FORM for ONE COURSE applied. Download the new form from AMAD website: http://www.iium.edu.my/sites/default/files/users/76/files/UG%2001%20Application%20to%20Add%20a%20Course%20(Adjustment)(1).pdf

  • Attach the completed form with the required documents. Read the instructions provided in order to know what are the required documents.

  • Submit the completed form with the attachments at the Ibn Tufayl Psychological Clinic 2, Psychological Services Unit, Level 2, HS Building. There will be officers on-site to receive your form.

THE MANUAL COURSE ADJUSTMENT IS ONLY OPEN TO:

1. INTAKE FROM CFS & DIRECT INTAKE: HIGHEST PRIORITY FOR THOSE MAJORING IN PSYCHOLOGY FOR PSYC 1000:

Required documents: Please bring (a) the correct adjustment form, AND (b) copy of the offer letter stating that you are majoring in psychology.

2. PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATING STUDENTS (FINAL YEAR, FINAL SEMESTER) WHO ARE UNDERLOADED:

Required documents: Please bring (a) the correct adjustment form, (b) a copy of most recent confirmation slip that shows your credit hours are between 0 to 11.5, (c) a copy of study plan, AND (d) a copy of graduation audit.

3. PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS (MAJOR & MINOR) WHO ARE REPEATING, UNDERLOADED, OR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY GENUINE EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES:

Required documents: Please bring (a) the correct adjustment form, (b) a copy of most recent confirmation slip that shows your credit hours are between 0 to 14.5, (c) a copy of study plan, (d) a copy of graduation audit, AND (e) supporting letter/s.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The study plan for batch 141xxx - 163xxx can be referred here.

The graduation audit can be obtained from i’Ma’luum – myacademic – study plan.

NOTE:

  • The Department has the right to refuse the form when the relevant documents are not presented. It also has the right to accept or reject any appeals at its discretion.

  • The Department will receive the forms from Monday until Thursday (i.e., 11.09.2017 – 14.09.2017) only to make headcount decisions. No immediate decisions will be made.

  • If your appeal is successful, you will see that you have been added to the respective courses in the system starting from Friday, September 15th, 2017 onwards. Therefore, we advise all students to attend your classes as usual and check your confirmation slip. YOU DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW UP REPEATEDLY WITH THE DEPARTMENT.

  • Course adjustment will start at 9:00 am – 4.00 pm at the Ibn Tufayl Psychological Clinic 2, Psychological Services Unit, Level 2, HS Building.

  • Academic Mass Gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017, 1:00 to 2:00 pm, at the Experimental Hall. Psychology major and minors are all invited.
