The Department congratulates our postgraduate researchers who have successfully passed their viva/ post thesis evaluation in the past few months. Br. Ali Al-Seheel, who was supervised by Prof Noraini and Dr. Jusmawati, passed his PhD in March 2018 with minor amendments. Congratulations also go to Br. Muhammad Karimi Sulaiman and Sr. Sanna Mir, both of whom recently passed their Master’s by Research post thesis evaluations with minor revisions in May 2018. Their theses were supervised by Dr Jusmawati and Dr Harris Shah, as well as Dr Ruhaya and Dr Nor Diana, respectively.
The proposal defense for our postgraduate researcher, Sr. Nurul Miza Mohd Rashid, has also been conducted on May 2nd, 2018. The title of her proposed research is “Identifying Neurocognitive Risk Factors of Violent Extremism”. In addition, our Master’s by Coursework students have presented their research proposals at a one-day Proposal Presentation event held on May 18th, 2018.
The Postgraduate Committee recorded its appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr Shukran Abdul Rahman (Head of Department), all Supervisors, Readers, and Examiners, who have dedicated their time to assessing, reviewing, and providing feedback on these theses and proposals.
