
Two academics from the Department of Psychology have served as Instructors in the Certificate in Inter-Religious Mediation, organised by Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws and the IIUM Academy. Dr Shukran Abd Rahman conducted a one-day session on Psychology and Religion (August 4th,2018) while Dr Mardiana Mohamad conducted another one-day session on Counselling Skills in Mediation (August 11th, 2018). The aim of both sessions is to equip participants with the necessary psychology and counselling skills in dealing with inter-religious issues in a plural society like Malaysia.
