Delighted to announce that a paper by Department’s members, Dr Nor Diana Mohd Mahudin and Muhamad Nurhisam Sakiman, won the Best Paper Award at the 2nd Conference of ASEAN Road Safety 2018 (CARS 2018) organised by the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) under the Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT). There are more than 80 papers presented by both local and international presenters (researcher, practitioners, governmental, NGOs, etc.). The award was presented by MIROS Director-General, Dr. Siti Zaharah Ishak, at the Gala Dinner, which was officiated by YB Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport Malaysia.
This research was Nurhisam’s Undergraduate Final Year project, which is a part of Dr Diana’s bigger research focus in traffic, engineering, and environmental psychology.
