The Department continues to be able to congratulate its young scholars on passing their PhD vivas. We have four students who have successfully defended their thesis in 2019 and 2020.
Congratulations to Dr Nor Akmar Nordin PhD. She passed her viva on August 14th, 2019 and her thesis work was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shukran. May Allah SWT bless the soul of Allahyarhamah Dr Mimi Iznita (Co-Supervisor) and Allahyarham Prof. Najib Ahmad Marzuki (External Examiner).
A huge congratulations to Dr Maisarah Mohd Taib for graduating with a PhD on September 24th, 2019. She has also successfully graduated on time. Congratulations to her Supervisors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shukran and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jusmawati.
Dr Mohd Ferdaus Harun also celebrates his new title. Congratulations for passing his viva on June 11th, 2020. This is the Department's first PhD defence in the wake of COVID 19. Ferdaus (pictured here with his supervisors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shukran and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jusmawati) conducted an investigation of organisational change initiatives, organisational culture, and attitudes toward change.
Finally, a massive well done to Dr Pamilia Lourdunathan for passing her PhD viva on June 23rd, 2020. That two-volume thesis was all worth it! Congratulations also to her supervisors, i.e., Asst. Prof. Dr. Mardiana, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azlin, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shukran.
These scholars have progressed to a career in academia and industry, and everyone at the Department is very proud of all these new doctors.
