One of the areas of responsibility of the Research, Seminar and Publication (RSP) Committee is to conduct Scholarship Advancement Project (SAP) at the Department level. SAP is a programme that aims at advancing the development of scholarship and publication outcomes of KIRKHS academics. This year, the programme led to the publication of a new special edition of the International Journal of Social Policy and Society (IJSPS), which features articles focused on human and social issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Published by the Institut Sosial Malaysia (ISM), IJSPS is an indexed journal listed in the MyCite (Malaysian Citation Index) and MyJurnal. ISM is an agency under the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development, Malaysia that supports high-quality research and publications on human and social development issues, women, children, and family studies, social welfare, as well as social policies.
The Committee thanked Prof. Dr Siti Hajar Abu Bakar, Chief Editor of IJSPS and Dr Faridah Awang, Director, ISM, as well as to the ever helpful and dynamic team at ISM, especially Pn. Hamidah Hassan, Pn. Junaina Johan, En. Mohd Hanapi Mohammad Hanipah, and Pn. Suzana Aba.
