While every new year brings with it change, 2019 is marked by a number of farewells and welcomes. We are delighted to welcome Dr Suriati Sidek, Dr. Haffiezhah An-Nadiah Azlan, and Dr. Fahad Riaz Choudhry to the Department, and equally thrilled that Sr. Pamilia Andrew Lourdunathan, Sr. Nurul Izzati Asyikin Zulkifly, Br. Muhammad Haikal Ahmad Puád, and Dr. Siti Inarah Hasim begin their academic career with us.
Farewells
Sadly, we had to bid au revoir to Dr Alizi Alias, Dr Junita Nawawi, and Dr Suzana Amad. They have been an integral part of the Department and have been instrumental in the teaching and learning, curriculum development, counselling and clinical work, academic advisory, islamisation efforts, and countless others at the Department. Indeed, they will be deeply missed. Our deepest thanks for the time and dedication they have given to the Department. We extend to them the warmest of farewells and wish them good fortune in their new endeavours.
Thank You
For many years, the Department has been indebted to external lecturers for their support in the teaching and learning of our students. This is even more so in the 2018/2019 academic year where they agreed to help the Department addressed the unforeseen circumstances experienced in the past two years. These lecturers are efficiently self-regulating, well-motivated, highly initiative, and genuinely committed in their work. Therefore, we thank Dr Noor Harun, Dr Mohd Najmi, Mr. Mohamad Naqiuddin, Mr. Mohamad Zaki, and Mr. Mohd Norahim for their dedicated service. Huge appreciation must also go to Ms. Maisarah, Mdm. Zarina, Ms. Nurul Miza, Ms. Noor Najwa, Mdm. Siti Hajar, Mr. Mohd Ferdaus, Mr. Muhamad Karimi, and Mr. Qarem for their active and engaging assistance throughout the academic year. To all, we wish you all the best and thank you again for the continued support to the Department.
Looking Ahead
That was 2019 (so far). We look forward to welcoming a few more academics who will join the Department in August and September. Amidst all this change, we hope the Department continues to grow and prosper.
